Telco Project Director / Project Manager – Berkshire

This great opportunity for the UK’s largest distributor of IT products, who employ around 550 people, supply to over 10,000 customers, work with the leading vendors of IT products (HP, Microsoft and Cisco, to name a few), and distribute over 30,000 products.

The role as the Telco Project Director / Project Manager will be to:
·Achieve quarterly objectives as assigned by the Managing Director of the UK business.
·Meets sales revenue, profit / income targets
·Expand the Blackberry presence in the marketplace through effective sales activities.
·Leads, manages, coaches and develops direct reports to strengthen customer, vendor and employee relationships.
·Generates new business opportunities and develops and executes business plans to maximise revenue and profitability.
·Increase points of distribution for mobile products and services.
·Develops excellent relationships with peers / cross functions, providing challenge and added value to the company, in pursuit of corporate goals.
·Work with the marketing team to optimise the customer offer for each channel
·Develops and maintains relationships with strategic customers and vendors supporting the territory and/or business segment.
·Demonstrates effective use of available corporate support/resources to maximise opportunities within the territory or business segment.
·Directs the negotiating and monitoring of customer contract compliance as required in the business segment or territory.

The experience needed to apply for the Tel co Project Director / Project Manager will be to:
·Previous sales management experience. Ideally industry-specific (e.g., distribution, manufacturer, reseller) or mobile telecoms experience highly desirable.
·Demonstrate inspirational leadership qualities
·Assimilate research data from a variety of sources, analyse, and recommend a systematic approach to planning and reviewing of appropriate courses of action to take.
·Build solid, highly effective working relationships with others internally and externally.
