Great opportunity for an experienced Researcher to work within the Public Sector!

A Public Private Partnership is seeking a Research Director to lead the research function within this organisation. You will play a key role in delivering research; overseeing all research projects as well as being responsible for developing the team and its offering.

On a day to day basis you will be the project lead for all qualitative and quantitative primary research projects as well as acting as a mentor for other team members. This is a client facing role and you will work closely with clients on the delivery of all aspects of projects as well as present and report final results to clients. You will also support the sales process by acting as a subject matter expert (but not chasing leads), including writing competitive and profitable costed proposals to tenders, with support from the Business Development Team.

In order to be successful in this role you will need a strong market research background, with a good working knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. You will also have strong management credentials, previously having managed and mentored junior colleagues. This is a client facing role, so candidates must be good communicators and have experience of dealing with clients on all aspects of the research process. Business development experience is not essential, but would be desirable and knowledge of the public sector would be advantageous.
