Associate Director (PR Agency) – Surrey
Our client is a leading Communications Agency and they are looking for someone who has the potential to climb the ladder in the organisation quickly to MD level. The agency focuses on the food industry and the ideal candidate will come from a FMCG background.
Main role:
· Day-to-day management, mentoring and motivation of the team in order to achieve organic and new business growth targets.
· Strategic direction of one of the top three agency clients.
· Support business growth from existing clients and new business by working with the teams, listening to clients and interaction with the board.
· Support the board in strategic decisions and implement those decisions in the business.
· Ensure the business and the teams are efficient, have excellent customer relationships, are motivated and are operating to the highest standards on both internal and external work.
· Input into, and manage the development of, business pitches and presentations to both new and existing clients.
· To learn the wider responsibilities and skills needed to autonomously run a leading UK agency.
· To operate in the industry, have empathy with it and build a solid and valid network.
Skills & experience:
· Extensive experience of putting together successful integrated campaigns and advising clients at senior level.
· An outstanding, organised and focused day-to-day team manager, with a talent getting the best from their people.
· Ability to recommend, enhance and develop agency processes and structures to maximise efficiency, motivation and results.
· Keen commercial acumen to develop revenue opportunities with existing clients profitably for the company.
· Good at selling in and developing persuasive proposals.
· Proven record of delivering sound commercial results and advice at a senior level.
· Evidence of logical thinking, planning, working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
· To be able to manage multiple projects concurrently and successfully.
· Experience in B2B of developing major accounts is essential.
